Handmade porcelain wall sculpture from the 'Guardian' range, Fox head by Derbyshire based ceramist, Abbie Sunter

Graduating with a BA Hons in Fine Art, from Derby University in 2013, Abbie works across a range of disciplines. Focusing mainly on ceramic sculpture, her work is inspired by nature and ancient cultures. Her pieces draw heavily on the influences of mythology, folklore, spiritualism and the natural world.

Working out of her studio at Banks Mill in Derby, Abbie’s range of ‘Guardian’ creatures cast in porcelain, create an introduction into her world of colourful, magical and mythical animals.
