Limited Edition Unframed Screen Print, 3/40, On A4 Fabriano Paper, Titled 'Yellow Sunflower' By Birmingham Based Artist, Karoline Rerrie

Karoline is an illustrator and printmaker based in Birmingham. She grew up in Northamptonshire and discovered a love of screen printing on an art foundation course at Nene College in Northampton. Karoline now creates a range of hand printed artwork including greetings cards and limited edition screen prints. Her work is characterised by bold outlines, patterns and bright colours so it is ideal for screen printing. Karoline draws her artwork by hand before making the separate layers for each different colour. Using either photo stencils or simple hand cut stencils, she then carefully screen prints each different layer of colour to create her finished prints.

Karoline regularly exhibits her work in galleries and at print fairs throughout the UK. Alongside creating her own prints, she works on commissions and licensing projects. Canns Down Press have published a series of her screen prints as part of their ‘Wonderland’ range of greetings cards. Ecoffee have also used her ‘Morning Coffee’ design on one of their reusable takeaway coffee cups.

Karoline is a member of Leicester print workshop. She also runs screen printing workshops for different organisations including Leicester Print Workshop, the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, Winterbourne House in Birmingham and West Yorkshire Print Workshop.
